Suwanee Family Dentistry is "going green"
We are concerned about the environment and want to do our best to be good stewards of our environmental resources. We have identified the following ways we can make a difference.
1. Because we use digital xrays, we have no film processing chemicals in our office. These are harsh chemicals that commonly end up in the sewer system, and we are proud to say that we don't use them.
2. Fluorescent and LED lighting is responsible for 99% of the lighting in our office, including our dental composite curing lights.
3. We recycle office paper, plastic, glass, batteries, and we have recently started to recycle cardboard. We use paper towels made from recycled paper and other recycled materials when possible.
4. Our old computer equipment is recycled using a local e-waste company.
